About Us

Natural Health Care Society

NHCS focus on farmers, Sc’s, tribes and other socio-economically under developed communities in the society.

NATURAL HEALTH CARE SOCIETY ( NHCS) is a NGO working in SPSR Nellore, Guntur and Prakasam district since 1997 with focus on farmers, Sc’s & tribal and other socio-economically under developed communities .The key activities of NGO include Child education(Against Child Marriages and Education)HIV & AIDS awareness campaign and Medical camps, Environmental awareness, Vocational trainings, Crop management of NPM and IPM practices, ,women empowerment, Promotion of farm and non-farm based livelihoods. Effective programs, which reduce poverty in rain fed areas of our service, will be mobilized to the village community through sustainably enhanced and technologies and approaches used widely disseminated. A replicable, participatory poverty and gender focused approach to farming systems development by NHCS and its adoption by other related organizations in the state.

Bottom-up involving communities in planning, prioritizing and implementation. Developing rapport, interest and trust between communities experts and self. Awareness building, trainings and workshops of communities, self and experts for sustainable rural lively hoods. An effective project model to promote and support village groups.

“The mission of the NHCS is to facilitate the emergence and development of individuals and organization with commitment and capabilities to improve the quality of life of vulnerable communities living in degraded and drought prone areas by strengthening the resource base and capabilities through improved knowledge and skills both in socio-economic development.”

Water Campaign

We created awareness in our community on water conservation through educating importance of water in various meetings and conducted a farmers rally in the village. A plan with farmers on how and where rainwater harvesting structures can be stored in the village was also discussed.
